Outside my window!
2021 has been one for the record books. I thought 2020 was it but 2021 came back with a two piece and an uppercut. I have lost so much this year that it is not funny however the one thing that remains is my love of photography. I thought I would never be able to pick up my camera again, as if I am doomed to watch the world go by out of my window. But then I realize there is construction going on. Not only outside but also on the inside of me and I am excited to help build and cultivate it.
Personally I do not fully understand who I am however I am deep seeded in who I am as a photographer. I love my style, I love my studio and I am grateful for it all. I always look forward to each client that I have and I give them a personal experience that creates lasting memories, friendship and client relations. I love what I do and how I do it. I look forward to offering many more new and exciting things in 2022, but most importantly I look forward to going outside, exploring what is new, discovering new places to offer different sessions at or even just capture the world as it goes by.
I don't know, but I am excited to discover what's in store for 8020.

When you capture a couples special day it is such an honor. They are in trusting you to capture moments that you can never duplicate. I have had the honor and blessing to capture the wedding of Will and Courtney. Such a deserving young couple who exemplify love, commitment and dedication. The outpouring of love that I witnessed at their wedding was so amazing, it is the stuff that dreams are made of.
My wish to you both: That GOD blesses you as you have blessed others. That your love grows stronger everyday, that your dreams grow into reality and Courtney that Will buys you all the shoes and purses your heart desires.

There is a moment in life when you realize that you have to walk away or get busy .. Well I seemed to have a creative block and I'm not to sure how to handle everything that I needed to do and please everyone that needed something from me ...
Sooooo I turned the oven on and mixed the ingredients and baked me some cookies.. after all cooking is a science and I love science.
Well after they cooled I thought how can I kick them up a notch? Well I thought I love adding things or making something over the top so I made Ice Cream sandwiches ..
Once they were made I thought how cute I want to take a picture ... thus sparking my creativeness ..

I love Journey's. They are the beginning of something eventful, weather it is sadness that will eventually make you into a stronger person or excitement that will fill your life with joy! Whichever Journeys are meant to be shared...
There is Hebrew prayer for people going on a journey... usually it is said at the beginning of your trip however I thought if you say it many times before your trip it will give it more times to go ahead and prepare a way for you ...

I use to ...
I'm sitting here listening to Corrine Bailey Rae " Til it happens to you" and I am thinking that everything has a" Use to " I use to love this or I use to do that but now I dont have time or it doesnt feel the same.
Well I have come to know that things are mostly black and white with little to no grey lines. All roads lead to an end.. and only the end my choices have led me to. I believe that I have chose correctly .. I use love the road less taken and inspired by the wind.. I use to Love Smiles and Laughter .. I use to be inspired by the simplist things .. I use to stop in the middle of the street to pick up a penny and read In God I trust ... I use to love holding hands and smiling because I get butterflies ... wait I STILL do all of these things :)
